I'm a music production student with a passion for web development. My knowledge of front-end development comes from working as a freelancer and interning as a web developer. I'm a goal oriented person who loves project management and team work.
Pocono Mountain West High School
Sept 2013 - June 2017
Sept. 2017 - Present
In high school, I found my passion for programming and web development. I started with Java and C++, but my early days of web development go all the way back to middle school.
High school was also a time I began music production. I experimented with programs such as Pro Tools First and began to have a basic understanding of what it takes to create good sounding music.
As I progress through college, I learn more and more from courses and self-directed research. Computer science courses helped me further solidify my knowledge of development, especially team-based, while music related courses are giving me new insight into the music industry and songwriting process.

Freelance Web Developer
2016 - 2017 | 2019 - Present
At first, I started helping my brother, Michael Tieso, with small WordPress tasks (which I began doing all the way back in middle school). Eventually, I went on to work with clients on my own by designing, improving, and fixing their websites according to their specifications. I utilize programming languages and tools such as WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
Freshman Design Project
Jan. 2018 - June 2018
In my college's Freshman Design Project , I developed a multitude of programming skills and project leading and management skills. I directed overall design and direction for the development of a 2D strategy-based game named Arch Enemy. That included managing and collaborating with a team of five people and acquiring feedback from playtesters. We used Trello to organize tasks and content. I gained valuable experience in Unity, C#, Photon Networking, and Git. Our game included online multiplayer, local multiplayer, and a complicated turn-based/player management system.
A Second Thought
2017 - Present
What started as a high school rock band with a couple friends eventually formed into a personal project of mine. It used to consist of jam sessions and us practicing cover songs in our drummer's basement. We released our first single (that I played rhythm and lead guitar for) on all music streaming sites, then eventually we became busy and parted ways. Now, I plan to use A Second Thought as a place to release solo metal tracks. Overall, the experience I got from producing songs, playing shows, and playing with a band was priceless.
Sound Enginnering Internship
As a requirement for a live sound engineering course in Drexel University, I interned for a day to shadow and work with a live sound engineer at a rock concert. Throughout the day, I learned how to properly setup stage equipment for a show such as monitors, drum sets, microphones, and a stage box. I learned a couple techniques on a console about EQing, compressing, gain structure, and other effects. I got extremely valuable experience because of this, and I'm very much looking forward to doing this again.
